In this 6th episode of the Lockers, we invited different art galleries throughout The Hague. We talk about their experiences as an art gallery and their vision on the art scene in The Hague.
Ronin van Gastel does the programming at the Bootjes at Westbroekpark. He started working there a few years ago in the kitchen and is now involved in organizing new and existing initiatives, including wednesday evenings that combine art exhibition in an old World War II bunker with musical programming. Combining his vision with the that of De Bootjes brings a spot in The Hague where a lot is possible. We talked about wat De Bootjes means for him and the Hague, the art exhibition nights and the underlying goals de Bootjes aim to achieve with its program.
