From Detroit to the Hague
In the 3rd episode of Lost and Found, we're having an inspiring conversation with the notorious ghetto house master DJ Assault (@djassault1) about his visit to @pipdenhaag in 2017 during “Rivaldi invites: DJ Assault”❕❕ We discussed his experience in the venue, his look on the current musical landscape that surrounds him, the meaning of authenticity in the world of DJ’ing, his creative use of sampling, his early inspirations, whether or not there is hope for the future of hip-hop and many more intriguing subjects. All of this went down while DJ Assault navigated Atlanta’s highways, juggling our call with his GPS and making sure he took the right lanes. A must listen for anyone that appreciates the original ‘blueprint’ of electronic music, as DJ Assault would say it!
