Ingrid Rollema's images are on the border between visual art and theater and respond to current events. She works as a sculptor and teacher at KABK and has a background in art philosophy, international law and ethics. Rollema has been awarded by the Victorine Hefting prize and is known for making many monumental sculptures throughout her career. In addition, she has played an important role for the HOPE Foundations goal to provide a constant exchange of Gazan and Dutch artists with the aim of bringing children in this war zone into contact with the arts in order to express and develop themselves.
