In the 6th episode of the Lockers, we invited different art galleries throughout The Hague. We talk about their experiences as an art gallery and their vision on the art scene in The Hague.
We sat down with Heske ten Cate and Samira Ben Messaoud, artistic director and business director at Nest. Nest is a space for contemporary art in The Hague. They examine social themes through exhibitions, new works of art, programs and education. Nest provides a platform to makers, writers, talkers and thinkers, with an international scope. As part of the vibrant and dynamic creative climate in The Hague, it fosters space for artists to experiment, to research, and to exhibit across a wide range of projects. We talked about their transition towards the new space at LAAK, the origins of Nest and its vision moving forward.
