Olivia Ontdekt - EP. 12 - Gabriel Muñoz
It took a minute (good things take time), but the 12th episode of Olivia Ontdekt is finally here and with a guest worth the wait: Gabriel Muñoz.
Half Dutch, half Chilean and impossible to miss in the ukg scene. He’s been quietly shaking it up because his music does all the shouting ;) After rinsing all of his releases, there was no question: he had to be the next guest on my radio show.
Gabriel started out making future- and tech house, until a good friend introduced him to UKG. It hit him so hard that he never looked back and now he’s growing into the genre at full speed. Consider that a warning about what one good recommendation from a friend can do!! :)
In this 1.5-hour b2b, I dig into Gabriel’s style, genre and mixing techniques: percussive, rolling tracks with big, round basslines. I had a great time and you’re about to as well! Listen now to our b2b set on Soundcloud or on PIP Radio!
