For this second episode, Reddor Armor welcomes Cenk Akyol, an artist and discerning music selector met during a trip to Istanbul.
Drawn to his distinctive musical taste and unique approach to selection, Reddor Armor is delighted to share his musical universe with the PiP Radio audience.
Artist bio:
Disco gave way to electro-funk in ’85, followed by Acid House in ’88 and Techno in ’92, gradually evolving into a wide-ranging collection of CDs and vinyl. Since the mid-2000s, he has been sharing his selections of nothing but sincere, decent music through his account. Although he has never had any interest in becoming a DJ, his musical taste has occasionally led to invitations to play on radio programmes and at clubs, since 1997.
Mix content:
A lazy autumn Sunday resulted in a spontaneous, moody selection of old and new crucial dub plates by DJ Spooky That Subliminal Kid, Dave Angel, Sub Dub, The Bug, Deadbeat, Elegia and others.
