Fusing nostalgia with a modern edge, Gilly’s sets are an exploration of rhythm and energy. Her genre-fluid approach and ear for eclectic soundscapes create a unique listening experience that is as much about cultural storytelling as it is about matching the energy of the spaces she inhabits. Her sound is a reflection of both personal and geographical influence—blending percussive Afro rhythms, Deep House, Ballroom, House, Techno, Jersey, Baltimore Club, UK Funky, Footwork, Amapiano, and Jungle/Drum & Bass . She also is a great digger and is pushing vinyl sets for non club settings too (day parties, events, bars, chillout zones etc).
