Jire Spiel is a The Hague-based DJ whose sets weave together a wide spectrum of sounds—from deep minimal techno and driving tekno to downtempo, ambient explorations, dub and break. Refusing to be boxed into a single genre, he approaches every performance as a journey, shifting between intensity and intimacy while always keeping a strong narrative thread.
He has shared his selections on platforms such as Future Intel, Operator Radio and Radio Hinter, gradually carving out a unique identity in the Dutch underground.
As founder of Gloom, a series of listening sessions focused on sound quality and musical depth, Jire Spiel extends his vision beyond the booth: nightlife as a space for collective listening rather than just distraction.
