Kaikaina’s sets are a mixture of ethereal melodies and deeper, raw elements. Self-described as a bleeding heart, music has been a way for her to redirect emotions and feel them fully, starting with classical piano from a young age, and now with electronic music. This innate feel for emotion in music can be found in her sets, with changing moods united through a coherent aural story. She blends romantic-era drama with relentless drive, pulling cuts from the 90s to now. Her sets lie somewhere between moody and sensual, layered with melodic stabs, percussive syncopation, and powerful kick.
