Liso
Liso is a self-taught producer and DJ from The Hague. His journey in music started early in his life, when his dad would play him records by Underworld and Leftfield. Later on in life, he spent multiple years working at the infamous club Het Magazijn, where he got exposed to a style of underground music that has shaped his sound into what it is now.
This sound is best described as fast and raw, yet deep and groovy. A fluent mix between Trance, Psytrance and Tekno. In some settings the undertone might even be considered mischievous and sexy. By playing organic and primarily storytelling music, the goal is to provide a memorable experience.
To Liso, DJing is not just about playing records for a crowd, it’s about an exchange of energy. The ability to collectively experience a moment, in which he guides the dancers with his beats. He believes there is value in that.
