Red Lantern FM 11th Episode is here! We’re delighted to welcome Wayki as this month’s guest. Wayki is a Taiwanese-American artist based in New York City, and the curator behind the New Roots mix series and Pure People events, which are both dedicated to amplifying East and Southeast Asian artists across the global underground. His sound leans into introspective, cathartic journeys, weaving ambient layers, organic textures, and driving melodies into powerful emotional moments.
For this episode, “Mangetsu” (満月 full moon), Wayki crafts a story of life told when the moon is at its brightest. Raw instrumentals and percussive textures spark a slow-burning fire, while narrators step forward one by one, sharing fragments of wisdom from different corners of the world. The mix shifts between clarity and haze, warmth and shadow — an invitation to pause, breathe, and listen to what rises under the full moon.
