Red Lantern FM’s initiator LAN The Wireless returns with the 12th episode, marking one year of this project: a year of listening, sharing, and slowly holding space for Asian voices and hidden sounds to exist on their own terms.
After recent trips back to China, this one hour mix became a quiet end of year reflection. Curated entirely with Chinese underground musicians, it feels intimate and personal, like revisiting childhood stories over tea, sitting with friends or family, letting time soften. Walking through her hometown felt slightly unreal, as memories surfaced both painful and sweet, familiar yet distant, like a dream that lingers.
