The first Spring Festival Special is mixed by Andy Chiu. Based in Taipei, Andy Chiu is a DJ and sound-focused electronic music artist rooted in Taiwan’s underground scene. Shaped by club culture, vinyl digging, and the spirit of Berlin’s underground, his sound moves fluidly between dance floor energy and deeper textural spaces. He blends techno, trance, tribal rhythms, ambient layers, and organic materials. Part of his practice lives through 潮電 Bar & Record Store, where vinyl becomes a way to explore the physical and spatial qualities of sound.
Recorded on the fourth day of 2026, this mix reflects on slowing down what is about to disappear. Built from lingering echoes, textures, and emotional residue, it becomes a temporary container for memory and warmth. A quiet pause in time, where fleeting moments are allowed to stay just a little longer before dissolving.
