Some of the tracks bring me back to my childhood — like the sound of the rare 朱鹮 (crested ibis) in a beautiful piece by Heiyuen, or the unexpected sampling of the eye protection routine (眼保健操) most of Chinese kids used to follow in schools. It's playful, a little strange, and full of personal memories — a soft soundtrack for slowing down and delving in.
