Breakfast at PIP Den Haag is a mix series made to start the day, in contrast with the more club oriented format PIP runs at night. The idea is to bring something that will always taste different and have new flavors, with an eclectic selection that can stay soft and introspective, then evolve into more energetic moments.
The selection stays intentionally open, with the wish to let older and newer sounds meet, and to mix worlds and styles.
The radio format makes it possible to take time with transitions, to embrace clear rhythmic shifts, and to follow unexpected directions. The mix often moves through layering, when two tracks share the same moment and become something new, and when blends can stretch out or take another turn.
Part of the selection comes from the collection Reddor Armor has been building for LivetillPeaceRadio, a project currently in development in support of Palestine and other occupied territories.
