Could you start by telling us who you are and what kind of music you make?
I am Posij, and I love making music, in all bpms. My style floats between Bass music, Breaks and Triphop.
As an artist from The Hague, what unique sound or energy do you bring to ADE?
A unique sound I bring is the mish mashing of different genre’s during my set. I try to drop some unexpected music. Music that the crowd is hopefully not aware of that they like that music.
How did this booking come about. Did ADE reach out, or was it through your own network?
This year I played at Ascension: MB Artist Agency Showcase in Club Nyx. MB Artists is where my booking agent works, and they put me on the lineup!
What makes you happiest about being here; the recognition, collaboration, or contribution?
I played back to back with my good friend jasper aka Former, I love playing with him. The hangout around the show is always super gezellig and fun, so that’s what I looked forward to most (:D) and i always look forward to really trying to make the crowd move, a difficult ADE crowd makes for an exciting challenge.
Does ADE feel like just another gig, or does it hold a special place for you?
It does have a special place, because I get to meet all my dj en industry friends in amsterdam during the week. It’s amazing to have a place where almost everybody comes together and makes an effort to hangout.
Since its start in 1996, ADE has evolved a lot - what changes stand out to you in the music or industry side?
I don't know
What trends are you noticing right now; in sound, performance style, or audience energy?
I love that dubstep is on it’s way back
What advice would you give to up-and-coming artists who want to be part of ADE?
Organise a little event, do that every year, and make it grow with you.
How does this year’s ADE experience compare to others you’ve had?

As a Dutch artist, how do you see ADE’s role in bridging the national and global electronic music scenes?
ADE is the connect. Shaking hands and putting faces to people is important for business, I think because of ADE a lot of beautiful projects and collaborations get started. Thank you ADE.
